Mia Reilly-Yeh’s Family, Education, Personal Life, and Social Media

Mia-Reilly-Yeh's

Mia Reilly-Yeh is the daughter of American clarinetist John Bruce Yeh and his wife, Teresa Reilly. She has a sister called Molly Yeh, a Food Network show host, cookbook author, and blogger; moreover, she has another older sibling from her father’s first marriage, Jenna Yeh, a chef.

Mia’s mother is also a clarinetist, just like her father, and they perform together, sometimes with Molly, with whom they recorded an album. Maybe, Mia will join her family someday in the entertainment industry.

Educational Background and Personal Life

Mia has been in the spotlight thanks to her parents and older sibling, Molly Yeh, and not much about her is on the internet. However, she is probably in high school and maybe studying in the school her sister studied that is, Glenbrook South High School.

Mia Reilly-Yeh is too young to be in a relationship, but she may have a crush on someone in her school or neighborhood. She looks up to her parents, both clarinetists, and her older sisters, both chefs.

Her Father

Mia’s father was born into a music lover family; in addition to being a scientist, his mother was a pianist, and his father was a singer. He used to play in local chamber music ensembles before he was hired as a solo bass clarinetist for Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Two years later, Mia’s father became the assistant principal and E-flat clarinetist for Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

John Bruce Yeh was a founding member of the New York New Music Ensemble and founded Chicago Pro Musica, which he still directs. It’s first recording, L’Histoire du Soldat, won a Grammy Award for Best New Musical Artist.

Regarding his personal life, Mia Yeh’s father has been married twice, first to Jody Yeh, a social worker, and clarinetist. They met while trying to find their way in their music careers. Their marriage yielded two daughters, but they divorced after some time. John then met Mia Reilly’s mother, started a relationship, and they have been together since.

Mia’s Older Sister

Besides her culinary work, Mia’s sister is also a percussionist, having studied at Midwest Young Artists Conservatory. Molly attended Juilliard School and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in percussion from the institution years later. Molly sometimes performs with her father and her stepmother, Teresa Reilly. However, she is more focused on her culinary work.

Mia Yeh’s sister uses her Instagram page to post some of her work and show people how to make some dishes. She has written cookbooks, including Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from An Unlikely Life on a Farm, for which she won IACP Cookbook Award.

Molly started hosting Girl Meets Farm, a cooking show on Food Network in 2018, which she still hosts. Given her passion for cooking, Mia’s sister started her restaurant called Bernie’s in East Grand Forks. Mia’s sister also co-hosted a podcast called From the Top in 2018.

Social Media

Mia is not on social media platforms; no accounts affiliated with her have been found on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. However, her older sister Molly is active on Instagram and uses her account to post pictures and videos of her cooking.
