Meet Rikishi’s Only Daughter: Thavana Monalisa Fatu

Thavana-Monalisa-Fatu

Thavana Monalisa Fatu is known thanks to her father, Solofa Fatu Jr., known professionally by his ring name Rikishi. Thavana’s father is an American professional wrestler known for his tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She was born on June 29, 1983, to her father, Rikishi, and Talisua Fuavai-Fatu in San Francisco, California, United States.

Thavana is a sister of the WWE duo, The Usos, twin brothers; they are younger than their sister Thavana. Besides Joshua and Jonathan, she has two other siblings, Jeremiah Peniata and Joseph, who is also professional wrestler.

Personal Life

Thavana Monalisa Fatu is part of the Anoa’i family, which comprises wrestlers; however, she is not a wrestler as she chose a different career. She is a family woman living with her family in Los Angeles. Monalisa has been secretive about her husband and children, keeping them from the spotlight.

Educational Background and Career

So little is known about Thavana Monalisa Fatu; it has not been revealed where she studied, but her younger brother, The Usos, studied at Escambia High School. That is where she probably studied as well. She must have studied to the college level, given her brothers attended the University of West Alabama.

Regarding her career, Thavana did not choose a career in wrestling, just like her father and siblings. She got into the entertainment industry, but as a model, and with whatever she earns from it, she can meet the demands of her family.

Her Father

When Thavana Monalisa Fatu’s father was 17, he was shot, but it was not so serious, leaving him with a wound on his abdomen. His mother feared for his life and sent him to her brothers, who trained his wrestling.

At 20, Rikishi made his wrestling debut, working with Montreal and International Championship Wrestling. In his early career, he worked with his cousin Samula Anoa’I, with whom he achieved much success. After working with several brands, Thavana’s father joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1992.

During his spell at WWF, he worked with his cousin, and they managed to take part in several matches. Rikishi won the Intercontinental Championship in 2000 against Chris Benoit and subsequently qualified for the 2000 King of The Ring tournament. For his great achievements in Wrestling, Thavana Monalisa’s father was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Rikishi’s sons continue their father’s legacy in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Social Media

Despite the media attention that Thavana’s larger family attracts, she has managed to stay in the closet. She lives a private life and does not like exposing it to the media, so she is not active on Instagram. However, she is on Twitter but does not tweet much.

Her father is active on social media, particularly Instagram, and sometimes posts Thavana on her birthdays. As his only daughter, he loves her and shows her as much love as she can. He writes a long caption about how much she means to him whenever he posts her.
