Brooklyn-Siebel-Newsom

Brooklyn Siebel Newsom was born on July 3, 2013, in San Francisco, California, United States. Most fans like looking into their favorite celebrities’ personal lives; some check if they are married or have children. One such person is Brooklyn Siebel Newsom; however, she is a celebrity child; her father is Gavin Newsom, the governor of California and her mother is filmmaker Jennifer Siebel.

Brooklyn has three siblings, Montana Tessa, Dutch, and Hunter Newsom. As a celebrity child, especially the governor’s daughter, Brooklyn, and her family must show support to their father. After her father was elected for a second term in 2022, she accompanied him and the whole family to a Sacramento party, where he thanked his supporters for re-electing him.

Education

Brooklyn Siebel Newsom has already started her education; she is in grade school, but her celebrity parents have not revealed the school’s name. But given her family’s financial status, Brooklyn must be attending one of the best schools in California.

Brooklyn’s Parents

Brooklyn’s mother started her career in the entertainment industry in 2002. As an actress, she landed several roles on television, theater, and films, including Strong Medicine, Mad Men, and Life. After meeting Gavin Newsom on a blind date in 2006, she reduced her acting roles since she was to resume the functions of a mother and first lady.

Gavin Newsom started as a businessman after completing his college education. He owned a wine store where billionaire Gordon Getty was an investor. For his successes in business, he was nominated to the Parking and Traffic Commission by the then-mayor of San Francisco, Willie Brown.

In 2003, Brooklyn’s father was elected as the mayor and served until 2010, when he became the lieutenant governor of California. In the 2018 election, Gavin vied for the governor’s seat on a Democratic Party ticket winning by a landslide against Republican John H.Cox.

Controversies Surrounding Brooklyn’s Father

While serving as the mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom issued a directive that the San Francisco county clerk should issue same-sex marriage licenses, which were against California state law. However, during a Supreme Court hearing, the court annulled Brooklyn’s Father’s direction, stating it conflicted with the law.

In 2005, Gavin Newsom had an affair with his appointments secretary Ruby Rippey-Tourk. Two years later, Ruby confessed to her husband Alex Tourk, a close friend, former chief of staff, and campaign manager of Newsom. Brooklyn admitted having an affair with Tourk, who was then married; he apologized to the public, saying he regretted his actions. Tourk resigned while Newsom continued as long; hopefully, he mended his relationship with Alex.

Her Parents’ Social Media Presence

Brooklynn Siebel Newsom is not active on social media platforms since she is still young, but her parents are engaged. Her mother is on social media and uses her handles to pass messages to her audience as the first lady of California and as a filmmaker. Brooklyn’s father is on Instagram, and his handle is @gavinnewsom; he posts political-related stuff but sometimes posts pictures of his family.
