In 1990, she met Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson, who were looking for a third member for their R&B group, En Vogue. En Vogue became one of the most successful R&B groups of the early 1990s, with hits like “Hold On”, “Free Your Mind”, and “Giving Him Something He Can Feel”. The group won several awards, including two Grammy Awards.
In addition to her work with En Vogue, Reid has also released several solo albums and written songs for other artists, including Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston.
