Their stage name “Uso” means “brother” in the Samoan language. Jaiden is the grandson of the iconic wrestler of his times, Solofa Fatu Jr, ring name Rikishi.

Joshua Samuel Fatu (Jey Uso) and Jonathan Solofa Fatu (Jimmy Uso) were born in San Francisco, California on August 22, 1985 (Jonathan is the older twin by 9 minutes) to Talisua Fuavai and professional wrestler Solofa Fatu Jr. (Rikishi). The Fatu brothers are of Samoan descent. As the sons of WWE Hall of Famer Solofa Fatu Jr., they are also part of the Anoaʻi family, a family of professional wrestlers originating from American Samoa. The Uso brothers have 3 more siblings, a sister named Thavana Monalisa, and 2 brothers named Jeremiah Peniata and Joseph. Joseph is also a wrestler known by his ring name Solo Sikoa.

Joshua married Takecia Travis in 2015. They have two sons together. Jonathan married fellow wrestler and long-time girlfriend Naomi on January 16, 2014. Trinity Fatu (née McCray) was born in Sanford, Florida on November 30, 1987, and is known by her ring name Naomi. Jonathan had 2 children from his previous relationship, a daughter named Jayla, and a son named Jaiden. Naomi became the stepmother of Jonathan’s kids.

Jaiden’s mother, Naomi is an American professional wrestler and dancer. In August 2009, Naomi signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and was assigned to its past developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where she was the inaugural FCW Divas Champion. In August 2010, she competed in the all-female third season of NXT, where she came in second place. Naomi appeared as one of the main cast members of the reality television series Total Divas.
