Alphina took up a job at a hospital as a nurse and also did part-time jobs to add to their family’s income. On January 20, 1998, Alphina gave birth to twin brothers, Frances Tiafoe and Franklin Tiafoe in Hyattsville, Maryland, U.S.

Constant was later promoted to an on-site custodian at the same Tennis center and also given a spare office to live in. Since tennis became easily accessible for the kids, they started playing regularly and developing their skills. Frances is reported to be in a relationship with aspiring tennis player, Ayan Broomfield.
